Episode 41

The Lightning Empress

At somewhere.
	Jave: Dragon hatchlings were born a few days ago. I went to see them and got scolded by Jev for not handling my daily duties. But it's only because there's so much to do. I'm taking my care of all the work gramps used to do, you know.
	Eileene: I know you're tying your best.
	Jave: But I've got help from my neighbors in the Dragon Ruins. With their help, all the dragon hatchlings were born healthy. They're chirping and waddling behind children. They're super adorable!
	Eileene: Do dragon hatchlings chirp , too? Like chicks?
	Jave: They do, actually! You'll have to come see some time.
	Eileene: Haha, I can't wait to see them.
	Jave: You laughed...
	Eileene: ..?
	Jave: After gramps died, you came to check on me. The fact that I have a friend who cares about me comforted me a lot.
	Jave: And I wanted to comfort you like you did for me. It's just that I don't know how..So I shared my silly stories around here in the hopes they'd make you laugh.You must think I'm so lame, haha.
	Eileene: N-no, I don't. Thank you, Jave. I- I wanted power...the power to protect my people. My arrogance fooled me into believing I was the only one who could save this world. It was then that I embraced the power of destruction. As I'd been countlessly warned, the power took gold of me and released my darkest side.
	Jave: Eileene-
	Eileene: The power fooled me into thinking that taking things from people and hurting them was the only choice I had. I knew it wasn't right, but I believed it was what needed to be done to save this world. And that's not even the worst part. I kept making excuses that it was aall because of the power of destruction.
	Jave: Yes, you made some excuses, so what?
	Eileene: Jave?
	Jave: Gramps told me once. We don't need to worry about making mistakes because everybody does. The important thing is what we do after we've made a mistake. Rachel and the others are too trying to fix their mistakes. Why don't we all apologize to Evan's crew? And help them find Evan and Karin?
	Eileene: Do you think they'll forgive us?
	Jave: I-I don't know. But they're good people, so i trust them.
	Eileene: Nothing will make you give up, will it, Jave?
	Jave: Are you afraid they'll be mad at you? I'll come with you and stand by your side, so don't worry!
	Eileene: St-stand by my side...? (Eileene starts to turn red and blush)
(Karl Heron appears and laughs)
	Karl Heron: Ahahaha!
	Eileene: K-Karl?
	Karl Heron: Haha- you went red as an apple..
	Eileene: A-apple?
	Karl Heron: I've only seen the greatest warrior in you until now. Love can bring your-
	Eileene: S-stop!
	Jave: Hold on!
	Karl Heron: You startled Jave, don't get so riled up!
	Eileene: Oh, Jave. I'm just-
	Jave: No, it isn't that. Something's coming our way. It looks like...a giant dragon?
(Destroyer Gaze is coming)
	Karl Heron: Crap! This doesn't work.
	Destroyer Gaze: How futile.
	Eileene: Urgh!
	Destroyer Gaze: The authority doesn't belong to humans. Humans never wield its true power. Hand over the Dragon's Authority. Only then I will save your lives.
	Jave: Like I'd do that! Don't be ridiculous!
	Destroyer Gaze: Then i have no choice but to bury you in this cave - after I take it from you. Smash it to bits!
	Karl Heron: You bastard, you brought your underlings? This Dragon's Authority, why is it so important to you?
	Destroyer Gaze: It's the origin of my kind's power - the power granted by our creator. It breaths life into dragons and awakens their powers.Now there's no one who can stop me. It's my time to awaken from my long slumber. I'll conquer this world once again and claim my seat in the heavens.
	Jave: I can take this-! {{Dialogue|Destroyer Gaze|Destroyer Gaze|But can you? you feeble human.}
	Jave: Arghh!
	Karl Heron: Jave! You all right?
	Jave: Crap! Why doesn't the Dragon's Authority work?
	Karl Heron: We may need to prepare for the worst.
	Eileene: It's coming again! Defensive positions!
	Karl Heron: Argh- Jave! I won't forgive you if you let Eileene get hurt!
	Jave: S-save your breath!. I'll protect her no matter what!
	Eileene: Karl! Jave!
	Eileene: (Damnit! I don't have enough strength to grip my spear! At this rate, those two will-)
	Eileene: (Something appeared in the sky)
	Eileene: Huh? is this?
	Karl Heron: That's-! Eileene! Hold your spear!
	Eileene: But this power could bring me back to-
	Karl Heron: Don't let your past hold you back! You can do it! Get up!
	Eileene: No! run away!!
(Destroyer Gaze attacks one more time.)
	Jave: Arrgghh!
	Karl Heron: Urghhh!
	Eileene: Karl-, Jave-
(Eileene accepts power from the sky)
	Eileene: I, Eileene, Captain of the Dawn Mercenaries, Empress of Fodina - had to be strong to save everyone.
	Eileene: But the power took control of me and ended up hurting people. I've turned away from it, too afraid to face my own mistakes to give myself to another chance to make more mistakes.
	Eileene: But running away from my past won't fix what I've done.
	Eileene: Karl's right - I can't let my past mistakes hold me back.
	Eileene: If i run away, there is nothing to solve.
	Eileene: I have to stand up.
	Eileene: To redeem myself to those I've hurt.
	Eileene: -To save them once again and for all.
