Past Timeline
As revealed by Victoria in the JP server, Roro is believed to have been a human princess in her past life. She lived happily with her parents, the king and queen. But, someone who was jealous of the affection given by the king to the queen and princess, decided to cast a curse upon them. Roro and her mother suffered a horrible skin diseased and were vanished from the palace. The mother fell ill and died, leaving the daughter to suffer a horrible grief. The restless princess then fell sleep and dreamed that she would be cured if she jumped into the ocean.
Roro jumped into the ocean and became beautiful once again. She then transformed (or was reborn) as a spirit of the sea.
She became a water spirit who had curiosity of humans. She went to the surface but was unexpectedly kidnapped by some pirates. The villagers nearby (the sea vigilantes) saw that she was in trouble and saved her, she then became friends with them especially the vigilante leader. Later on, the vigilantes were killed by the pirates. Roro becomes furious and attacked the pirates by making a huge wave (Time of Revenge), killing the pirates. From that time, she held deep revenge to humanity who tried to bring chaos to the sea.
Season 2
Roro thought that if she's not getting stronger, then she won't be able to protect the sea. She wishes to continue the sea guardians's purpose of protecting the sea and she does this by going on a hibernation in order to recover her strength. Roro asks for help from the Iron Devourer, the sea dragon king, to guard and protect the sea while she hibernates. However, while she hibernates, she heard the chaos that goes around in the sea.
As the curse of destruction spreads, she accepts the power of destruction in order to protect the sea and gain new power. Then, she resurface and tries to get revenge on Dellons after he brought chaos to the sea and what he had done to Iron Devourer.
She awakens from her sleep and found that Ace, the Moonlit Isle leader and the pirate Victoria attacking Iron Devourer. Roro becomes furious and goes to attack them and trap them. However, Victoria quickly explains to Roro what is actually happening while she endures Roro's furious strikes. Victoria explains that Iron Devourer is under magic spell. Roro believes Victoria's story and releases her along with Ace.
While Roro is investigating who is the culprit, she found out that it was none other than Dellons. Dellons actually is aware that Roro is a strong opponent. Before heading to Aisha, he had watched Roro's actions and used the time while Roro hibernates as a chance to go to Aisha. Dellons asked Bane to bewitch Iron Devourer so Evan's Crew won't be able to catch Dellons. As Bane bewitches Iron Devourer, the sea chaos finally begin once again.
